North central Montana is known for its rich layers of fossils. From spectacularly preserved dinosaurs to delicately preserved lobsters, crabs and even rose thorns, the unique fossils of the area will astound you.
The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum works with the public and local landowners to find fossils, bring them into the museum, and study and display them.
