Volunteer Program

Donate your body to science and become a volunteer at the GPDM! As a volunteer a custom program will be designed based on your interests. Letters of recommendation can be provided.

"The Jr. Paleontologist Program"- Only on select days, please call for details

1.) JUNIOR PALEONTOLOGIST IN-HOUSE PROGRAM: This 90-minute program is open to all ages. Participants learn the basics of fossil discovery, excavation, preparation, research, and display. Non-member: $30 Member: $25

2.) JUNIOR PALEONTOLOGIST FIELD PROGRAM: This program is open to ages 5-11 year olds and provides a 3-hours field program. Participants learn basic geology, fossil discovery and excavation in a field setting approximately 30 minutes from Malta. Participants must have a participating adult accompany them and provide their own transportation to and from the site. Non-Member: $100/per child(includes accompanying adult) Member: $80/per child(includes accompanying adult)
