Montana's only Dinosaur Dig Program for kids! Sometimes simply visiting a museum is not enough! For those kids who want a hands-on experience with fossils, GPDM offers a unique opportunity... "The Junior Paleontogist Programs" Please call 406.580.9917 for clothing recommendations and registration. 1.) Jr. Paleontogist In-House Program: This 90-minute program is open to ages 5 and older. Available May 15 - October 31, 2013. Participants learn the basics of fossil discovery, excavation, preparation, research, and display. Non-member: $30 Member: $25 2.) Jr. Paleontologist Field Program: This 3-hour dinosaur dig program is open to ages 5-14. Participants learn basic geology, fossil discovery and excavation in a field setting approximately 30 minutes from Malta. Available June 23 - September 30, 2013. Participants must have a participating adult accompany them and provide their own transportation to and from the site.
